Merry Christmas everyone!!!!

"And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the fields, keeping watch over their flocks by night. And lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the lord shone round about them, and they were sore afraid. And the angel said unto them, Fear not, for behold, I bring unto you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you this day is born in the City of David, a Savior, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you; you shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes and lying in a manger. And suddenly there was with the angel, a multitude of the heavenly host, praising God, and saying, 'Glory to God in the highest, and on Earth peace, good will toward men'". That's what Christmas is all about, Charlie Brown"

Linus Van Pelt

That is a quote from Daddy's favorite Christmas show

We have currently celebrated 2 Christmas' at this point and 2 more to go. Last night, we went over to Aunt Kristy's and Uncle Greg's house and had dinner and opened presents there. Mommy, Daddy, Nana, Grammy and Poppy, Uncle Marc and Laurie were there last night. I came home with a full minivan of presents. Last night I got Mr Potato Head, Mickey Mouse Surprise Clubhouse and a brand new LeapPad.

So when I got up this morning, I climbed into bed with Mom and Dad and went back to sleep. I was tired after being up late at Aunt Kristy's house. When I did get up I had this in the front room already to go for me....

I know have my very own train!!! I can ride it anytime that I want to, as long as Daddy keeps the battery charged. I had a bunch of other presents but I was having so much fun with this one, it took a little longer to get to those. Santa and Cousin Leanne and Great Aunt Peggy sent me the following:

Indian Jones Mr. Potato Head, Thomas the Train Stop and Go figure 8 and a Thomas the Train Conductor figure 8 playsets. Daddy's freind Bill Davis had given me their Thomas the Train full wooden table back in the summer. As soon as we move, I will have my own playroom to play in with all my trains, dvd's and toys.

We are getting ready to go out to Grandma and Grandpa's house for another Christmas. Grammy and Poppy were going to come but Grammy has been sick all night. I hope she feel's better later and we will go up to thier house in the next couple days and have another Christmas. They came all the way back from Mexico to spend Christmas with us and now she is home sick....sorry Grammy.

I thought I would also tell you what Mommy and Daddy got. Mommy has gotten 3 different copies of the Mamma Mia DVD, a couple of Starbucks cards and Digital SLR camera for taking lot's of pictures of me!!! Daddy got a new BMW keychain, a BMW sweatshirt and a 3 litre bottle of St Feuillian. That picture is the actual size of the bottle. Dad and I will have a write up on how this tasted in the next couple of days!!! He also got 3 bomber bottles of Chimay, Karmeliet and Maredsous beer from Belgium....it was a big Belgium day for Daddy.

Hope everyone has a great Christmas and I will bug Mommy on taking pictures so you can see how the camera works

Bye for now.....

Christmas is coming up fast

I am so excited!!! Christmas is almost here.

On Saturday, we went to Grandma and Grandpa's clubhouse and we had brunch with Santa. We had eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes and potatoes o'brien. After we were done eating, I walked up to where Santa was sitting. I gave him a "high 5" and proceeded to tell him what I want for christmas.

Santa is cool...he get's a thumbs up approval from me

Here is a quick movie of us at lunch with Santa.

After lunch, I spend the rest of the day and night with Grandma and Grandpa and went to the movies. We saw "The Day the Earth Stood Still" I gave a big "oh no!!" at the best part of the movie and everybody thought that was really cool. Mommy and Daddy went christmas shopping for me and everyone else. I cant wait to find out what they got me. Last year the cool present was my rocking horse. I had breakfast with Grandma and Grandpa before Mom and Dad came back over and picked me up.

Today the high was 4 degrees. No, there is not another digit missing. It snowed last night and part of the day today. We got Mommy new tires for the minivan, went to the mall and played on the breakfast food and rode the esculators. Mom and Dad would not let me play outside today.

So this week we are going to the Zoo Lights with the Fetzers. We went to the zoo lights last year also. I think that is all we have. Mommy and Daddy are thinking about going skiing this weekend. They have not been in over 2 years.
I will make sure that Daddy take's lot's of video's and pictures while we are out this week. I love the christmas lights all over the neighborhood and know that zoo lights will be alot of fun.

It's finally winter in Colorado

It finally snowed and it is staying around for a while. After a great fall and hardly any snow in Nov, Dec was nice for the first 6 days. Monday night the storm blew in and dropped about 5 inches of snow at the house.

We decorated the house on Saturday and Sunday. Daddy hung lights around the house and put the lighted animals in the front yard. Sunday I picked out the christmas tree and we decorated it that night. The tree has Santa on the top, white lights, bells and Mommy put on some lights that play music....it is so cool!!! Mommy put up the baby gates around the tree so it keeps out the dogs and me, but I know how to get in there. Mommy caught me in there the other night and I just let myself out.

So I had to write out my first chistmas wish list this year. Mommy helped me out with this one. It is also doubling as my birthday list also

I have some really cool stuff on the list....

V- Smile by V-Tech video games for toddlers
Mr. Potato Head
Leapfrog My First Leap Pad (age 3- book with reader)
Toy push lawnmower
Crayola Scribble and Sing Art Station for toddlers
Remote control car for toddlers
Yo Gabba Gabba Dance Mat
Wooden Thomas and Friends train sets (he has the table, but doesn't have any trains or tracks)
Wooden Puzzles
Books (like Polar Bear Express)
Board Books (with textures or animals)
Tonka Bounce Back Racer (preschool RC vehicle with flip over fun)
Mickey Mouse Clubhouse (characters move and sing)

P.S. Please no Barney or Elmo toys....they are just not cool

Daddy has taken a bunch of movies of me in the last week. I will see if he can help me upload them to my blog

Let's all be thankful

So I am stuffed at this point.

We had 3 different Thanksgivings over the past 4 days. On Thursday after Daddy got home from racing, we went up to my friend Gavin's house. He had all of his cousins over and we had alot of fun playing and running around the house. We played outside since it was so nice with Koda. We then had a late lunch of Turducken. It was really good, I had never had that before.

After dinner, I took a quick nap and we drove home to have another dinner, this time with Nana, Aunt Kristy and Greg and thier friend Laurie. We had a full dinner here also with a full turkey and all the fixings. It was a long night and I was really tired

On Friday, I hung out with Dad in the morning when Mom went and got a pedicure. Then Dad had to run some errands and I stayed with Mom and then I stayed with Dad through the night when Mom went to Girls Night Out.

On Saturday, Daddy went to his bike race and Mommy and I went to Grandma and Grandpa's house for yet another Thanksgiving dinner with all of the family. They have also bought a Nintendo Wii. You can bowl, box, play golf and tennis. You have to swing the controller and it picks it up on the tv. It is really cool and I want one know!!!

I hope that fall never ends

With the weather being so nice, I still get to play outside almost every day. We have only had about an inch of snow in Denver this fall and November is supposed to be the 3rd snowiest month. It has been been cold and all the leaves have fallen from the trees. We have 2 really big trees in the front yard and they have a lot of leaves. Dad was getting ready to mow them up but I had other plans. So with the dogs and Mom's help and the flip video, I did the this:

Saturday the weather was still really nice, we went down and watched Daddy race cyclocross in Colorado Springs. Mommy calls it pyschocross but I always have fun. You get to play in the dirt, mud, sand and snow, if that ever happens again. Cant wait until I am old enough to do this. He did not have a good race and had to drop out because he rolled his tire off his wheel and was too far away from the pit area to get his back up wheel.

After the race, we went to the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. Mommy thought that Daddy had the video camera and Daddy thought Mommy had it but both of them left it at home, so no video's of the zoo. But we had so much fun there. The first exhibit we go to is the giraffe's. They have this HUGE platform that you walk up and then you are eye level with them. You also get to feed them. We probably spent 30 minutes just there feeding them.

We then went and saw the elephants, the bears and birds. You also get to feed the birds with these little food sticks. I like to play and chase the birds but I don't want to have them land on me. I was very unhappy with them landing on my stick, my hand and my head. Finally, Mommy picked me up and everything was good again.

We then had lunch and then walked up to see the tiger, the grizzly bears, the mountain lions and the moose. As we started down the hill, I was able to have my first horse ride. It was so much fun. The attendents were really impressed when I told her that I was not even 2 years old yet. I hung onto the horn of the saddle like I was John Wayne. I got to do 2 laps around the stables. We also saw the gorilla's, orangutans and the hippos.

Up to this point, I had not had a nap. But on the way out of the parking lot, I crashed really hard. Daddy took this picture of me on the way home. I felt so good to have my afternoon nap.

Bye for now

Hanging like a monkey

Hi everyone. Mommy found this really cool place that I have been to a bunch of times already. It is called Little Monkey Bizness and boy is it fun. I get to climb all over stuff and run around.

Daddy bought this new pocket sized video camera from Flip Video. All you do is push the red button and it starts to record. It has zoom, sound and you can edit videos and add music if you want. Mommy brought this with us last week and took a whole bunch of video's of me. Who else would she take video's of?

Hi, Hi, Hi

So that was one of the first video's that Mommy took. She kinda had the camera in my face a little bit. But it really takes cool video's huh?

The next video is me running and climbing into the house. I have so much fun at this place. Do you see the smile on my face?

I climb, I climb so far away

So a couple of days later, I got invited to a birthday party. My friend Austin turned 3 and had a party at the bowling alley. His grandma and grandpa live across the street from Grammy and Poppie. We get to play together when he is over on Fridays and weekends. So they had 2 lanes of bowling with bumpers so I always hit the pins at the other end. During the course of the day, I had a couple of spares and even had a strike, even though Dad did not tape that one.

That is a 9lb bowling ball I am carrying

We are heading down to Co Springs this weekend to watch Daddy race on Saturday. Then we are going to the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. I hope we take the video camera with us. I want to really climb and hang out with the monkeys.

A halloween that I will remember

Now that I am almost 2, I will remember this halloween. Last year I was Curious George. I went around Daddy's office for trick or treating and got some cool stuff but really did not understand the whole thing. This year, I get it.

Mommy took me to get my costume and I got to try some on. Below is what I had to pick from:

So after trying them all on, I decieded that I was going to be a elephant this year. But you all need to know, this has nothing to do with the presidental election.

So after Mommy and Daddy got home, I got dressed up and we got ready to hit the streets. I have this really cool plastic pumpkin that I would carry to bring home my loot. I take off down the street and run into my first person that ask's if I would like a piece of candy. He drops a small candy bar into my pumpkin and says, "Happy Halloween". How cool is this!!! I walk down the street in a costume and people just stop and give me stuff. Let's keep going all night!

We walk to the next house and Mommy helps me up to the front door. The 2 ladies thought I was so cute, which I already know. and again they give me a couple of pieces of candy. I say "bye bye" and walk back to where Daddy is standing. The head of my costume is starting to move around and it is getting hard to see.

I wander around the neighborhood and pick up more and more loot at each house that I go to. I high five everyone that gives me something and everyone is happy.

Later in the night, we went out to Littleton and met up with Lisa and Eric and thier kids at thier church and I played in the bouncy house until they took them down around 9pm. I really need to get my own bouncy house in my backyard. If I had one of those, I would be the happiest kid in the neighborhood.

I will try to update again in a couple of days.

Bye for now.

Red Bull Soapbox derby - why are they dressed up so weird?

Hello everyone,

So there is going to be multiple updates in the coming days but here is the first one that goes back to Oct 25th.

Dad spent the day at Veloswap selling his old bike and parts and coming home with a pocket full of cash that he proceeded to give straight to Mommy. But Grammy, Poppie, Mommy and I went to the Red Bull soapbox derby up at Red Rocks. We had to park down at Bandimere Speedway and take a bus up to the races. At some point during the morning, there were almost 30,000 people trying to get up to the races and the city of Morrison had to close all roads in. People walked for miles and miles to get up to the races.

There was some really cool cars there. They picked 30 teams for a lottery of hundreds and they all had themes. Below are some of the pictures that Mommy took while we were up there. I know have a lot of new friends to hang out with.

We dont need No Stinkin Badges.....this might be the cast of Blazing Saddles???

Just checking the results at the end of the day...how did my team do?

Grammy, it is not Halloween yet....but she hung out with the fishes all afternoon

Did the chicken come before the egg? How did he get his feet to stay straight all day?

This "duck" was made completly out of duct tape....who knew they made yellow duck/duct tape?

More cowbell? I thought that was the band that played at our BBQ in Sept? Who is this guy? And why is there a cow next to me?

How is that guy going to get into such a small stagecoach? And what is he going to shooting with that gun?

This might have been the best soapbox at the race. They were all dressed up like characters from the movie Ferris Bueller's Day off. They did not sing Paul Anka's Twist and Shout though.

I will be doing another update tomorrow about Halloween.

Talk to you soon.....

Busy weekend

Hi everyone...it has been another busy weekend here in colorful Colorado. Saturday, Mom and Dad, along with Frank, Liz and thier kids with Elisa, Greg and thier kids all loaded up in minivans and headed up to Miller Farms. It is about an hour North and East of home. They had all kinds of things going on up there. As we drove in, they had of these cars painted to look like the cars in the movie "Cars". They were really cool.......

We then went around the farm and petted the animals, picked vegatables right out of the field, played in the bouncy house, and rode around in some plastic barrels pulled by a small John Deere tractor.

Sunday I got to hang out with Grammy and Poppie. They just got home from a very long trip. They have been gone for almost 6 weeks. They went to Canada, England, Germany, Italy, Austria, Greece and Spain.
They brought me back a couple of pairs of shoes, some t-shirts and a mini soccer ball from FC Barcelona. Dad got a really cool beer glass from Munich, which is also home to BMW so it matches his car. He also got a couple of bottles of Ouzo from Greece.

So this week is also super busy. I spent all day today, Tuesday, with Grammy and Poppie while Nana went to the dentist. I had dinner with Cynthia and her mom down at her house. Thursday I get to go to happy hour with Dad and some of his new co workers. Friday is dinner with the bike crew after they set everything up for Veloswap and then Saturday night I get to stay with Grammy and Poppie while Mom and Dad go out with some friends for a birthday party.

Next week is Halloween and the next post will be with me and my cosutume.

Bye for now

Wow!!!!! 6 weeks have past

Hello everyone,
It has been over 6 weeks since my last post. I have been doing so much that I have not had time to update my blog. Where to start, where to start??????

In August, we were home for most of the month. Mom and Dad "pawned" me off alot to Grammy and Poppie on weekends since they have been working really hard on getting the house ready for sale. They have painted inside and out, new landscape in the front yard and backyard, Mommy painted the living room and all the trim. Dad put up molding in the bathroom and finished the molding in the laundry room. Then they moved alot of the furniture down to a friends house so I have lot's of room to run around and chase the dogs inside the house.

We have been all over town. We have been to the zoo and rode the train and the musical carousel a couple of times. Mommy took we with her work to the Rockies game and I played around and had peanuts with the guy that was sitting behind me. We have gone down to the Farmer's Market on Saturday mornings and I have had these really good Belgium french fries, strawberry lemondae and breakfast burritos....yummy!!!!

Here is Mommy and me on the carousel

And us on the train...I look so happy to be there but I really am!!!

I have been on a couple of bike rides with Dad. We loaded up the trailer a couple of weeks ago and went out with my buddy Gavin and his dad, Pat, and we rode up Waterton Canyon and back down. Dad even took me on the really rocky singletrack part of the ways up. Mom went on her annual Girls only camping trip. This year she did not take me though...I did not even get to camp this year!

Last weekend I went to my first concert and I did not even have to leave my house, they came to me and played. It was the annual BBQ that Mommy and Daddy have been having for about 5 years now. There were so many people in and out of the house that I could not keep count of all of them. The day started early since we have to go pick up lot's of food and drink for everyone. Mommy had a special suprsie for me though...we had a bouncy house !!! It was the coolest thing that we have ever had in our backyard. It was here for like 4 hours and I did not want to leave even when it was time to eat dinner. I had so much fun and was very sad when they had to take it down.

But then the band, Jim Dont Sing, started to play and I was mesmerized by the music and could actually see where it was coming from. Most of the time it just comes out of the air when we are at the mall or from somewhere within the car when we are driving around. They played some really cool 80's songs and I was dancing all over the place. It was really cool.

I get to go to the park about 3 to 4 times a week. I have become quite the climber and hanger at this point. We throw the frisbee for the dogs and I just run around and climb on everything that I can find. I cant wait to have one of these cool houses in my backyard to climb up.

So last week Mommy and I were over at Whole Foods and she found this car that she wanted me to stand in front of. I dont know much about cars, but it got her engine all revved up so it must have been cool.....Please let me know why everyone gets a big smile on thier face when they see this car??

I also have become a chef....I was able to make my own pizza last week and it was really good. The resturant brought me all the fixings and I got to put them on the pizza crust any way that I wanted to.

I also want to say that I miss Grammy and Poppie. They are in Europe for the next 4 weeks. They have been over there a week already and have been to England, Germany, Austria and Italy. They are still heading to Greece, Spain, France and then back to Canada and then the good ole USA.....hope they bring me something really cool back

Bye for now!!!!!

A day in the life....at home with Nana

Here are some of the emails that I send out during the day. Nana helps me with these so they are a little different than the others. This is the one that I sent to Mommy on Monday.

Mommy,

I ate my cereal for breakfast and a bag of fruit gummies. We worked in the front yard for awaile. I helped Nana cut the suckers off the trees. We also took most of the dead stuff out of the flower beds.

Nana found the table candle that you put on the roof of the dog house while you were painting. You put the dogs water pan on top of it. It melted yesterday and was glued to the placemat and the bottom of the dog pan. Candles have to stay in the shade not the sun mommy.

I swang in the backyard for a while. Then I played in the dog house while Nana set in a chair on the porch. For a snack while playing in the backyard I ate 2/3 of a strawberry/mango popcicle. Nana got it for me, but I let her have a few bites.

Finally, I climbed up on the table and it wobbled so Nana put a flat rock under one of the legs and it was just fine. Of course it wasn't as much fun then. I danced and walked around the top for awhile. Then we went inside. I was getting tired.

I pooped my pants so Nana told me to get a diaper and get ready to be changed. I surprised her by getting a diaper and then climbing up on top of the changing table. She said I must really like craisins because there were a lot in my diaper. I just smiled.

Nana got my binky and blanky and we turned on the music and rocked. Of course I wasn't ready to go to sleep so I played by kicking my feet on the chair arm, pulling my hair and waving around my blanky. I like rocking. I closed my eyes and kept them closed for a few minutes. I faked out Nana. As soon as she laid me down I opened my eyes and hollared.

She had to rock me for ten more minutes before I would let her lay me down to go to sleep. I let her have two and a half hours rest before I got up and asked her feed me lunch. She tried to give me some salmon and mixed veggies. I just said no! No! No! She finally gave me some mac. & cheese. I ate it all. I toyed with the carrot slivers, but I won't eat them.

We are going to play now so I have to go. See you home soon. I love you much, much.

I am so tired!!!

It's CHIVAS...It's CHIVAS!!!!

Hi again. What a weekend. I am glad that Mom and Dad have gone back to work so I can just get some sleep again.

It was a very busy weekend around here. Let me give you a quick run down.

Thursday night we went to dinner at La Sandia out by Aunt Kristy's house. They have really good mexican food there. We had fried cheese and chirizo, street tacos, beans, rice, chicken, beers and sangria. While sitting on the stoop, there was live caribbean music. It was nice to hear the steel drums and xylophones again. It makes want to stand up and dance!!!

Friday was the 4th of July....Happy 232 birthday America!!! You are really old!!! I started the day with Mommy and Grandma and Grandpa Brady at the Cherry Creek Arts Festival. We walked around and looked at some really expensive stuff. I was in my wagon and did not anything in there with me so I threw it all out. Mom did not pick all of it up and lost my blue animal blanket. After meeting up with Daddy after his mountain bike ride, we went to a birthday party up in the mountains and then went and had dinner with my friend Gavin out at The Dick. It is such a long name that is what we call it. We watched the Rapids beat New York Redbull 4-0. Dad was super nice to me and got me my very own Rapids Jersey. Now I have a Chivas kit, a Mexican national kit and a Rapids kit. We then watched the fireworkds. Well, I only watched about 10 minutes before I went to sleep. It was late and I had been up all day.

Saturday we went to the zoo. I slept for the first hour or so while we walked around. I got to ride the train, feed the larakeets and played with my friend Symone. While at the Kraal, there was a goat that I thought was making "special treats" for me from the wrong end. I had my hands out to catch them until Mom pulled me away!!! I got to see the baby zebra and we had lunch with a peacock. I have also learned how to do stairs without any handle rails. I am fearless!!!!

Why is Mom holding me and this bird???

That is one big lion laying there!!!

Handrails, I dont need no stinkin handrails!!!

After that, we went up to Grammy and Poppies house and had a big BBQ. I had chicken, salmon, brats and all kinds of chips. I did get up on thier table and danced the night away though. Check out my bad moves...

We stayed up there late again and fell asleep in my other bed up there. Mom and Dad, start bringing me home early...I need my beauty sleep!!!

Sunday, we went back to the CCAF and found my blanket. Somebody had turned it in to the lost and found. I was so happy to find it and so was Mom. Sunday afternoon we just kinda hung out and then went to a BBQ at some of Daddy's friends. We got to swim and BBQ down by the lake. It was alot of fun..Mom and Dad, maybe we can buy a house down there???

This week is supposed to be a down week for us. Not much going on so I can store up some energy because on the 17th, we leave for CA and I get to go to Disnyland again!!!!!!!

Bye for now!!!

It has been a while since I have written

So now that everyone is back to thier regular schedule, Mom and Dad back to work, Granny taking care of me during the week and me wanting to have everything that I see, I thought that I would also update my blog.

So here are a bunch of pictures from Puerto Rico. Mostly me playing at the beach. There is a couple of great shots of the "best house in Rincon". I really want Mom and Dad to buy this one for us....it would be so much fun to stay at.

When you see the whale, this is the beach you want

Why is there a hole in the frog?

Here is Mom and me at the fort in Old San Juan

Hey, did they make this door way just for me???

The perfect sunset over the Atlantic from Aguadilla

This is the house that Mom and Dad should buy. It has shells all over the place

Mr. Carrero & Sons Family Love Castle - we would have to rename it though!!!

They make palm trees that I can stand under and still have shade

Check out my really cool shades that I got!!!

Here is me chasing the pigeons at the park in Old San Juan

I still love the food at La Bombonera...cant wait to go back for some more mallorca's

All the houses in Old San Juan have a very Spanish/French flair to them

These might be the smartest cows...they were right next to us on the beach

I dont understand the waves coming in and out....this does not happen in the bathtub at home??

These are my footprints....boy, have I grown up lately

These long days at the beach are really starting to tire me out!!!!

I told you "All coconuts belong in the ocean..now get back in the water!!!!!!"
