April 4-13 I traveled to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

Mommy decided to fly us to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico to visit Grammy and Poppy while Daddy was in Belguim with his bike buddies. Mommy and I had SO much fun while we were on vacation. We did lots of things. We played at Grammy and Poppy's new condo, we swam in the pool at their condo, we went to the beach, we went to the zoo, we visited the Churro-man often, we strolled along the melacon, and we even went to brunch at the Sheraton with Grammy and Poppy's friends. While on vacation I started to miss my Daddy and so I made up a special wish for him. Check out the video at the end of the pictures to see me say my wish.
While I was in Puerto Vallarta, I also saw my Great-Aunt Peggy and Great-Uncle Dan Bellock who were on vacation there. They came all the way from San Diego. Even though mommy dragged her camera with her everywhere she managed to forget to take a picture of us with Great-Aunt Peggy and Great-Uncle Dan so you will just have to believe me when I say I saw them and hung out with them a couple of times.

The pirate ship that I loved to watch every night from Grammy and Poppy's balcony.

While we were down in Puerto Vallarta Grammy and Poppy took us to a zoo where I got to feed lots of animals. You wouldn't believe the animals we got to feed unless you got to see pictures so here you go. American zoos aren't going to be the same after this.

I LOVED splashing around in the pool on the roof of Grammy and Poppy's condo. I must have swam at least twice a day in the pool while I was down there.

We went to the beach while we were down there. We were lucky that the day we went the water was good. Later in the week the red tide came in so we couldn't go play in the water again. I had a lot of fun playing in the sand, but my favorite part was playing in the ocean. The waves sure didn't scare me!

Mommy buried me in the sand and I loved it. Later mommy was amazed at all the places I had sand even after I took a shower when we got home!

I found a new favorite dessert while I was in Mexico. CHURROS! I don't know who liked them more, mommy or me. Every day after dinner we would make our evening trek to see the churro man for dessert. It cost 1 peso per 4 inch churro. Mommy and I would split a bag of 20 each time! Do I look excited or what?

When we were walking around the shops in town Mommy found this giant sumbrero for me to try on.

Along the melacon there are all kinds of strange and interesting bronze pieces that people sit on, play on, and take pictures with. I did my share of fitting in with all the people...

While we were in Puerto Vallarta there were people that build these amazing sand structures. I was never able to get any of my sand castles to look that cool.

Daddy is always talking about the pave or cobble stones in Europe, especially the ones that he rode on in Belguim. I wonder if he remembers that Puerto Vallarta has them too!

Grammy and Poppy got me the lion shirt I am wearing in this picture. It is the neatest shirt because the mouth of the lion flaps up and I can pretend that he is roaring. I made he roar a lot while we walked the melacon.

I think this is the only picture that has all four of us in it.

This man takes pictures of people sitting on his burro in return for pesos. Mommy didn't have any more pesos so he let us take a picture anyway. Gracias, Senor!

These creatures are made out of old palm trees. I thought they were funny looking.

Here are pictures of Grammy and Poppy's condo. It's beautiful! I can't wait to come down again.
This is a picture of the back of the condo taken from the street below. It is a long, windy, narrow, steep road up to the condo. Grammy and Poppy are in the penthouse.

When we walked into the condo we had to walk up a flight of stairs and then the first room we enter is the dining room and kitchen area.

Across from the kitchen is a sitting room and then the living room is on the other side of the counter in the picture below.

This is a view of the condo taken from the balcony looking back into the condo.

This is the view from the balcony. We dined a lot out here.

I loved the big bed I got to sleep in. Mommy even helped me turn it into a fort.

This is looking into the dining room. It's the first room we enter when we come inside. The stairs going down lead to the condo front door. The stairs going up lead to the rooftop partio and pool.

At the top of the stairs to the rooftop there is a bathroom and then a door to the patio on the roof.

The blue wall is an outdoor shower for going in and out of the pool.

The palapa on the rooftop balcony sure helped keep the sun off of us.

This is my favorite place at the condo.

Even the view from the pool is amazing!

Grammy and Poppy took us with their friends to the Sheraton for a brunch buffet. While we were there a young trubidor sang with his mariachi band.

This is me being silly with Poppy.

Here I am with 'MY Friends'. That is how I referred to Grammy and Poppy's friends after I had hung out with them all day.

Same picture, but this time with Mommy in it.
