Some more pics of me at Thanksgiving

Here are some pics of me that Grandpa took on Saturday at thier house. Mommy bought this push car for me a while ago. I can now walk all over the house and outside with it. It can also be converted to a buggy that I can sit on and push around like a car.

This is me and Partner walking towards Grandpa in thier front room

Check me out...I can push this all over the house!!!

This chair keeps getting in my way...this looks just like the one that I have in my bedroom?

Check out my cool corduroy suit!!!

Hey, who is making noise over there?

I'm walkin, yes indeed, I'm walkin....

Halloween - I know, it is kinda late at this point

Halloween, I don’t understand the whole thing. You get dressed up and people give you candy and food. Sounds like a good time to me.

So my first Halloween, my granny Linda, made my costume. I was Curious George. Dad decided that was a good costume for me. Mommy had found a pumpkin costume but was out voted by Dad.

At Dad’s office, they have a kids parade around the building. We walked all 3 floors of the building and brought home a whole bunch of candy, and I never got any of it. I only was able to eat the Teddy Grahams and sucked on a packet of Smarties. All the rest of my haul just disappeared – Mom and Dad must have eaten it.

That night, Poppie and Grammy came over and we handed out some more candy to other kids that came by the house. Not many kids came by because it was cold out but there were all kinds of costumes: Princesses, Santa and his elves, pirates and skeletons but I did not see any other monkeys like me………

My fourth trip to CA this year - on a somber note

Well, it has been a while since I have had time to update my blog. One would think that at only 10 months, I would have lot's of time on my hands to do this but that is not the case. I am busy little guy.

Around the third week of October after watching Uncle Brian, Uncle Ron and daddy get done racing cross up in Westminster, Mommy called and told us that great grandpa Leonard had passed away. I was able to meet him a couple of times before he passed. Here is a pic of us at his house back in March. He was a big baseball fan and loved to be with his kids and grandkids and great grandkids.

We flew out on a Wednesday morning to CA, cousin Brian was with us also and we were there for a full week. I got to see all my great aunts and uncles and cousins. I always seem to be the center of attention when I am there, so I must be popular?

He had a full military funeral with an honor gaurd, taps and a 21 gun salute. He was a B-29 pilot in WWII. There was alot of crying and remembering by everyone. He will be missed by mommy and daddy.

We did go down to San Diego and see cousin Leanne and Jay and the boys. We went to this really cool resturant called Stone World Bistro. We had lunch with them and Ryan, Shannon, Aunt Peggy, Sara, Uncle Dan. They have really good food and their beer is made in house. They have a great park area, a pond with ducks and a firepit inside a water fountain.

We then went to Disneyland with Leanne, Jay, the boys, Aunt Michelle, Great Aunt Patty and Dan Jr. We rode the Buzz Lightyear ride, Dumbo's elephants, Mr Toad's Wildride, The Haunted Mansion, Pirates of the Carribean and a bunch more that I slept through. Mommy, Daddy and I also got our pictures taken with Pooh, Tiggerr and Eyeore.

We had a really good time and were there all day and all night. I want to go back and get my picture taken with Micky and Minnie Mouse because I was already asleep when they were out walking around.

We did get to walk at the beach a little bit. Had dinner at The Brussells Bristro, Los Brisas and Dad's favorite, In and Out Burger.

Great Grandma might be coming out after Christmas also. It will be good for her to be in Colorado and seeing all of the other family that was not able to get out for the funeral.

When we finally got back home, the Rockies had lost the World Series, the Bronco's lost in overtime to the Packers and Halloween is just around the corner.
