I had my party, better late than never, huh?

Well, after putting it off for almost 3 weeks, I finally had my birthday party. We didn't have it Jan 1 or Jan 5. We pushed it out until the 19th. It has come and I have hauled in some more really cool toys and presents.

Mom made me a lamb cake. This is the traditional birthday cake on Dad's side of the family. Even he had one on his 1st birthday. Dad pur the tarp down and let me have at it. I had it all over my face, my hair, my clothes. But I had a good time with it, even though I ate very little of it.

Dad was able to put the camera on the computer and Grammy was also able to watch down in Mexico. Poppie was out racing sailboats. There team won once again. That is 3 wins in a row for them. They are going to win the big regatta again this year.

It is my birhtday month

Hi everybody, it has been a while since I was able to update my blog. I turned 1 a couple of weeks ago. Mom and Dad took me out to lunch at Johnny Rockets for grilled cheese sandwiches, frites and a chocolate sundae. We had a good time at lunch and then got to play on the breakfast food at the Cherry Creek mall. Here are a couple of pics at lunch.

A couple of days later, I got my first hair cut. I was a big boy and sat on the dinosaur and the nice lady cut all my long blonde hair. Mom and Dad kept some for my baby book. Now I look like a litte cool guy.

I then had my 1 year check up. I have grown to almost 2 1/2 feet tall and almost 20 lbs. When I go over 20 lbs, I will be able to sit in a forward facing car seat. Now I will be able to tell where we are going all the time. Do you know how uncool it is to never know where you are going?

I have been sick so I never got to have my birthday party. I had to be cancelled on the 5th and everyone is coming over this Saturday for it. I have already opened some of my gifts though. I got a yellow rain slicker from Aunt Kristy, a Bronco's warmup suit from Uncle Tim and Aunt Michelle. Grandma and Grandpa got me really warm blue Air Force blanket. I have been using that one alot since it has been cold here lately. I also use it when Mom and Dad take for a ride in my wagon. It has been very handy to have around so thanks Grammy and Poppie!!!

Right now I have just been playing with my Legos and blocks in the front room. We dont have any real plans for the next couple of weeks, so I guess I will be home for a while. Daddy has a a 3 day bike ride in Moab, UT that I might try to talk Mom into going with. She is not much for sitting around while Dad is out riding though.
